Laura Sulborski, MFA
Founder, Educational Consultant
Laura founded Atlas College Consulting after a career in film and television, working within one of the world's largest global news organizations, and in business. She has helped hundreds of young people develop their talents and writing through original stories for the stage and screen.
Laura holds an MFA, film, from Columbia University, and earned a BA, magna cum laude, humanities, from the University of Alabama. She completed the graduate certificate program in independent educational consulting at UC Irvine and also IECA’s Training Institute. Laura has studied, lived and worked abroad, and has travelled extensively throughout Europe and beyond.
Laura continuously builds upon her knowledge of specific college programs and campus culture, touring colleges and meeting with admissions professionals across the U.S. Her ability to assess the fit, feel, culture, opportunities, and strategically consider affordability and admission trends/statistics in order to find the right colleges for her clients, sets her apart.
She is a proud member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), Gap Year Association, and the National College Affordability Group (NCAG).
Laura is dedicated to guiding college bound students on their journey to finding their own success.
